ARE CURRENT ANTIBIOTIC GUIDELINES ALSO APPROPRIATE FOR EXCLUSIVELY BREASTFED HIV-EXPOSED BUT UNINFECTED (HEU) BABIES?

The World Health Organization currently recommends all HIV-exposed but uninfected (HEU) infants be protected with an antibiotic until they are weaned (and HIV can be excluded). The University of KwaZulu-Natal, with support from the Family Larsson-Rosenquist Foundation, is investigating further in South Africa.
