The Family Larsson-Rosenquist Foundation and The University of Western Australia launch the first version of LactaPedia - A Glossary of Lactation for Science and Medicine.

LactaPedia is a freely accessible online resource towards a consistent and research-based terminology for human lactation. It is intended to eliminate inconsistencies in terminology – which lead to inconsistencies in understanding – of breastfeeding and breastmilk. LactaPedia is primarily targeted towards scientists, medical and healthcare professionals, yet it will be available to the public as well.

The online glossary is also be included in the evidence-based reference book published by the Family Larsson-Rosenquist Foundation: Breastfeeding and Breast Milk – from Biochemistry to Impact.

A book preview can be downloaded for free.
