Despite breastmilk’s significance for improving infant survival and the long-term health of mothers and children, research on breastfeeding and breastmilk is often overlooked and underfunded. The International Society for Research in Human Milk and Lactation (ISRHML) and the Family Larsson-Rosenquist Foundation (FLRF) hope to help change that with the ISRHML – Family Larsson-Rosenquist Foundation Trainee Expansion Program (TEP).

TEP offers two scholarship opportunities to talented young researchers interested in entering or furthering their work in the field of breastmilk and breastfeeding:

• Short-term Trainee Travel Funds – up to USD 10,000 for activities of up to three months
• Longer-term Trainee Bridge Funds – up to USD 100,000 for projects of up to one year

You can discover more about TEP here or apply here, and keep current on related developments by subscribing to our newsletter.
