Exploring the association between children’s early nutrition (e.g. breastmilk and breastfeeding quality, exclusivity and duration), structural changes in brain morphology and functional outcomes at the University of Zurich.

Researchers at the Larsson-Rosenquist Foundation Center for Neurodevelopment, Growth and Nutrition of the Newborn (LRF CNGNN) aim to conduct congruent inquiries into the neurodevelopmental mechanisms that influence child and youth development.

The LRF CNGNN was jointly established by UZH and FLRF. Researchers at the LRF CNGNN will also have the opportunity to interface with researchers at the Larsson-Rosenquist Foundation Center for Economics of Breastfeeding, recently established at UZH to gain a holistic understanding of the sociocultural and economic aspects and long-term effects of breastfeeding.
