It aims to improve health worldwide – catalyzing that process through collaboration and open dialogue, and steering tomorrow’s agenda to improve research, education, healthcare, and policy outcomes. On the World Health Summit global leaders from politics, science, industry and civil society come together to develop effective strategies to reach UN’s health targets and to address the most pressing issues facing every facet of healthcare and medicine in the upcoming decade and beyond.

Central topics at this year’s World Health Summit include pandemic preparedness, the crisis of antimicrobial resistance, access to essential medicines and treatments, the impact of the digital healthcare revolution, and the capacity of health systems to deliver interventions and technologies for curing disease and prolonging life.
